Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all video and photography services provided by Solstice Creative (Groves Media Group Limited). By booking a shoot or confirming a brief, you agree to the following:

1. Booking & Payment

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 25-50%) is required to secure your shoot date.

  • Final Balance: The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final assets, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with UK government late payment legislation.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Client Cancellation: If you cancel within 48 hours of the shoot date, you are liable for 100% of the agreed fee. Cancellations made 7 days prior may transfer the deposit to a new date at our discretion.

  • Weather: For outdoor shoots, we will attempt to reschedule in the event of severe weather. If this is not possible, a partial refund may be offered excluding any incurred expenses (e.g. location fees, equipment hire).

3. Copyright & Usage

  • Ownership: Solstice Creative retains the copyright to all raw footage and images.

  • License: Upon full payment, the Client is granted a license to use the final edited materials for the agreed purposes (e.g., Social Media, Website, Internal Use).

  • Raw Files: Raw files (video or photo) are not included in standard packages but can be purchased for an additional "buyout" fee.

4. Creative Control

  • Edits: Our standard packages include two rounds of amendments. Further changes will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

  • Style: By booking Solstice Creative, you acknowledge familiarity with our visual style. Refunds will not be issued based on subjective dissatisfaction with the agreed artistic direction.

5. Liability

  • We maintain public liability insurance. However, Solstice Creative is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from technical failure, weather, or illness. In the unlikely event we cannot fulfill a booking, our liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid.
